The Aria 2 updates Fitbit’s smart scale with a new design and improved accuracy

Fitbit just announced a new smart scale, the Aria 2, that has a new design and updated

features compared to the company's original Aria scale. According to Fitbit, the Aria 2 is easier to setup over Bluetooth directly on your smartphone using the Fitbit app than the original Aria, and offers more accurate readings. The Aria 2 is also able to recognize up to eight users, making it possible to share a single device with multiple family members. The Aria has been due for an upgrade for a while, given that it’s been almost five years since Fitbit released the original model back in 2012. Like the original Aria, the Aria 2 can track weight, BMI, body fat percentage, and lean mass, as well as sync that data to the Fitbit app where you can track it together with data from your other Fitbit devices. The Aria 2 will cost $129.95 when it releases later this year in October.                                                                                                                                            https://www.theverge.com/circuitbreaker/2017/8/28/16214314/fitbit-aria-2-smart-scale-update-design-accuracy
